¹⁵ So he summoned the young officers from the provinces, and there were two hundred and thirty-two of them. Then he counted all of the Israelites there, and there were seven thousand.

¹⁶ They set out at noon when Ben-hadad and the thirty-two kings who were helping him were getting drunk in their tents. ¹⁷ The young officers from the provinces went out first. Ben-hadad sent out men who told him, “The men from Samaria are advancing.”
